Hydrogen can be produced by several methods including:
- Gasification of natural gas, wastes, coal, or oil.
- Steam Methane Reforming of natural gas or other hydrocarbon.
- Electrolysis of water using electricity. (possibly combined with wind to produce a “zero CO2” system)

Safety is important to all BQ Energy endeavors, but particularly hydrogen. Although the material is very clean, it is not easy to store, and is very combustible.
