By taking advantage of recent advances in wind technology, BQ Energy is successfully generating clean, economic electric power while satisfying community goals of brownfield redevelopment and job creation. We particularly focus on oil refineries, steel mills, and similar brownfield sites to look for opportunities to develop wind energy facilities from the initial concept to successful operation. We have the capability to manage each project through that development cycle by providing financial management, technology selection, communications, and environmental stewardship. Our objective is to manage the development of such facilities and to own a portion of each once they begin to generate electricity.

There are a number of manufacturers of wind turbines each with differences in technology that must be evaluated for every new project based on site conditions and cost. Although we generally avoid unproven design concepts, we will consider technical innovation for the right application, where all stakeholders are aware of the challenges.
